Garden Daydreams

As my garden grows slowly (emphasis on slowly), I find myself daydreaming of Autumn Sunflowers and the beauty of the trees as they showcase their Fall colors.

For the Love of Birds

The type of bird I like is made from fabric with a strip of jute holding a sprig of Sweet Annie or one stitched in DMC on a Prim Cross Stitch design, NOT real ones who drive me out of my own flower garden due to a supposed nest ... yup, I will stick with fabric!

Independence Day

Tomorrow as we gather 'round the barbeque with friends and family celebrating the independence granted to us so many years ago, may the day find us always thankful for the freedom we experience, the family that surrounds us, and the LORD God who offered up His Son to save us.  May God bless your Fourth of July, 2017!
